Easter Egg Videos
Uhhhhhh, I made a few videos of Isabella, Josh, and Jaden dyeing Easter Eggs this afternoon. I put them all on Godtube so that Amy can always go back and see the videos of her kids. I am posting all of the URLS here mainly for Amy's benefit. Feel free to take a look.
He's Got Wheels!!!
Our youngest grandson is really growing up quickly. With 2 older brothers and an older sister, 3-year-old Jaden wants and tries to do everything they do. Well, this evening was another "first." Belle came knocking on my door to let me know that Jaden was on his bike for the first time as she thought I might want to make a video. (She knows her Grandma PRETTY well.) I did go out and shoot some video so, of course, must post it here for posterity!
EASTER BRUNCH, CHIP'S DEPARTURE, DYING EASTER EGGS
It was a full but fun day-before-Easter morning. We had a brunch here at home as our last meal together before Chip had to take off to return to Huntsville. It was a wonderful time of fellowship. We gave the kids and grandkids their Easter goodies at the table so that was fun. When it was time for Chip to leave, we all were outside to see him off. He is looking for us to come up and visit him in early May so that will give us something fun to look forward to!! Here are a few pics of our morning fun and then our good-byes to Chip. I thank God for the wonderful time we had during Chip's visit. My heart is full.

Family Pic Made at Dinner Tonight
The waiter at our authentic and wonderful neighborhood hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant took our picture for us. We have enjoyed Chip's visit so much. These two days have flown by and he will leave us tomorrow after our Easter Brunch. But his life and his ministry are in Huntsville so we will send him off with our love and prayers. We are thankful he is now that close and that we can visit back and forth every three months or so. God is good.

OUR DAY WITH CHIP
Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
As a mother and grandma, it is my greatest joy when the family is all together. With Chip in the ministry and 5 hours away, he can't come weekends and week days aren't a great time for him to come~~ especially during the school year. So, on this Easter week with Amy and the kids out of school on Thurday and Friday, it was perfecting time. We are all so glad to have Chip here at home with us for a coule of days. We will take these precious times that the Lord bestows upon us!
Chip, Amy and the kids and I met Richard and Brian at a B-B-Q restaurant for lunch. That was a good time. When the men returned to work and we returned home, there was some outdoor play as the day was simply gorgeous. It was very windy but sunny. I made some pics and video and will share a bit of our day. God is good!! The first picture is of Chip, Amy, and the kids as we wait on Richard and Brian to arrive. We have ordered the food!

WELL, WHAT DO YOU THINK?
I had a wonderful day working at the radio station today. It is fun to see friends there and to meet college students who come by to answer phones, too. I had a fun lunch with Richard and his lunch bunch and then worked two more hours to complete my stint on this year's Share-A-Thon.
While there, I mentioned to the computer guru of the radio station that I have wanted to figure out how to play REJOICE radio on my blog. It is mostly music, and I thought that would make for a little nicer time spent on the blog for me and for my visitors. I told this man the URL for my blog, my user name and password and in just a few minutes, he had REJOICE installed. I was a trusting soul to give out all of that information but figured I could certainly trust him!
I hadn't thought about the possible interference with playing videos but it seems that the video sound pretty much overrides the radio.
What do you think???
Jaden and Morgan ~~ 3 going on 16
This post is for Morgan, Jaden, and their Grandma Carol. Last Friday, when Jaden spent the morning with Grandma and Cousin Morgan, I made a movie of the kids in the red Mustang car that Jim and Carol won at a car show last year. The kids love to drive and ride together. Like a typical teenager, Jaden was fiddling with the "radio" knobs while driving! I made 3 little video snippets and want to share them here for Morgan and Jaden to enjoy. Everyone else will just have to endure the cute kids!
