Jaden's Patriotic Renditions

We took Jaden with us to the Bible Study at a retirement center where we go on Fridays. Because it was July 3, we took Jaden so that he could recite and sing the Star Spangled Banner as the special music for the meeting. The folks loved him. Here is a bit of it......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA!

I'm thanking God for my country today, my beloved America. As I think about our forefathers who fought to lay down the guidelines by which she would be governed, I can't help but mourn about all that has transpired and how much America has changed. Today as we celebrate our Independence and America's 233 years of being the greatest nation on earth because of God's great blessings, I pray that our hearts will be prompted to pray for our country: our President who professes to be a Christian but who is leading us so far away from our Christian moorings, our other national leaders, those who govern our states, and for all of the true Christians in this great land, that God will be pleased by the faithful remnant and will help us to stay strong in Him so that we can be light and salt in these ever darkening days. Happy Independence Day~~ as we seek to be ever more and more dependent on our Great God and His Son, Jesus Christ!
